a topographical map on. Mt French is 1305 meters high.
1.find a mountain/track
.1/2. find the topographical map of step one
.2./3. measure the contour lines then recorded distance between contour line using contour line find out how much height is covered.
.3/4 we added up the horizontal
distance multiplied by the scale                                                                                                                  number.
                                                                                                      4. make a graph of your two                                                                                                                          distances.

  The pig

the day I stuck my first pig on my
wall me looking straight at me 9 years
old old enough to say I am so little in that picture.
see it every time I go in to my bedroom.
only a 70 pounder enough to fill two draws
in the freezer big in my eyes back then.
just before town we would always do
what pig hunters do put the pig on the
dog box and make it look bigger and drive
slow so people can get a good glimpse of it.
and feel so proud of what we had achieved.
aswell as feeling proud it is now one of the funniest

part when we put our hand in our spiky hair and try to

BACKYARD

back yard

Image result for pukekos

our backyard’s usual enough; its got 2
paddocks, a creek, a few pukeos, some eels.
Me, my cousins, my brother, and mates, would go over the back and pull
out the slug gun or the bow and arrow and do what boys do.

Pukes, they’re really hard to hit, some its takes us a while to get one.
talking about anything we could think of.
if we missed we would chase a sheep and tackle them.
if we are not doing that we’d be eeling, hunting or fishing
doing nothing important.

That was hamner

Have you ever smelt the pine sap when you were walking through the forest that was Hamner.

Remember when you hop in your sleeping bag and you find bush seeds and fern leaves that was Hamner.

Have you ever been down the super bowl backwards and do 3 laps that was Hamner.

Remember when Kaha  jumped out of our window and then Mr would caught him that was Hamner.

A terribly no good very bad day

I woke up on the floor with a saw head and bruises on on my leg and I knew when I looked at the first bruise that it was going to be a very very horrible day. then I see that there was no more breakfast left and then I asked my mum who at the last bit of MY breakfast my mum said my brother at the last bit I told you that it was going to be a very very horrible day then I go to school and I trip on my stupid shoe lace and then I see that someone took my desk spot and it was very very horrible day. then my computer was flat so I found my computer charger and it was all tangled up and I had to sit there for ages and untangle the stupid charger I was going to be a very very horrible day. then when my mum came to pick us up I seen that my brother got the front set and I wanted the front set and then I asked for the front set and mum said No he has got the front set see it has been a very very horrible day.
